I'm sorry, Beth. My wife has MM and is just about to begin the Thal-dex regime leading up to a stem cell transplant. She had dex after tumor removal and during radiation treatment back in May and despised it. I sympathise with you and I wish you well. I don't know how old you are but I thought that the stem cell transplant was the best procedure if you were in good health? May God bless you and keep you and may the doctors soon find a cure or at least a great treatment that can give us an old age. Jim

I had to go back to the original schedule. 40 mg one day a week, and 20 the next. I just couldn't take dex 4 days in a row! In fact, the dread I feel when I know I have to take it the next day is almost overwhelming. Who would ever have thought that I'd be heading for a stem cell transplant because of dex?
